About the Author

Bob Bly is a legendary copywriter who has worked with over 100 clients including M&T Chemicals, IBM, AT&T, and Agora Publishing.  His work has won several awards including: a Gold Echo from the Direct Marketing Association, an IMMY from the Information Industry Association, two Southstar Awards, an American Corporate Identity Award of Excellence, and the Standard of Excellence Award from the Web Marketing Association. He's also the author of more than 50 books, and his articles have appeared in numerous publications including Business Marketing, New Jersey Monthly, Writer’s Digest and Direct Marketing.  Bob has presented seminars in marketing, sales, writing, and customer service for numerous organizations including the Publicity Club of New York, Women in Communications, and Independent Laboratory Distributors Association; and taught business-to-business copywriting and technical writing at New York University.

Bob holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester.  He's also a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Newsletter and Electronic Publishers Association, and the Business Marketing Association.
